Why I built this

Plateify started as a personal tool. I was trying to understand my own food sensitivities: why some meals left me drained, why certain ingredients seemed to trigger symptoms, why my energy felt unpredictable. Tracking calories didn't help. Diet apps didn't help. What I needed was a way to connect what I ate to how I felt, and watch the patterns surface over time.

When I couldn't find that tool, I built it. Plateify is the result.

What Plateify is

Plateify is a personal wellness app that helps you notice the patterns between food and how you feel. You log meals (a photo or a quick description), check in with your mood and energy throughout the day, and Plateify surfaces the connections.

The goal isn't to restrict, score, or judge. It's to give you a clearer picture of your own body so you can make small, informed choices that compound.

What Plateify isn't

  • Not a diet app. No calorie targets, no macros to hit, no "good" or "bad" foods.
  • Not a weight-loss tool. Plateify doesn't track weight or set body composition goals.
  • Not medical advice. Plateify offers personal observations, not clinical diagnoses. Always talk to a healthcare professional about persistent symptoms.
  • Not a data harvest. Plateify doesn't sell your data, run ads, or share information with third parties for marketing.

How we think about food

The best food choices come from awareness, not rules. Rigid diets break. Habits built on self-knowledge stick. Plateify is built to give you that self-knowledge: one logged meal, one noticed pattern at a time.
